Getting the right amount of sleep each night is very important. Without it, we would be putting our phones in the fridge and the milk in the cupboard! Do you need help achieving those extra 40 winks? Try following these three simple tricks:
Go to sleep and get up at the same time every day. Doing this will help your body get into a routine, and allows you to get a better quality of sleep. If you stick to this every day your body will naturally wake itself up - saving your ears from the dreaded alarm clock!
Avoid using your mobile phone at night. Have you ever laid in bed tossing and turning? The blue light emitted by your phone stops your brain from relaxing. Try to put these to bed an hour before yourself, this way you will feel ready to fall asleep sooner. The Darker your room, the better. Making sure you are in a dark room when you go to bed is great for achieving a perfect nights sleep. Keep yourself away from those distractions, such as the growing washing basket or those out of place ornaments.
